Maxpedition Fatboy GTG
I had looked at various versipacks from Maxpedition but was having a tough time finding the right combination of size (big enough for essentials, small enough for easy EDC) and format (pocket types & locations). For me, the Fatboy GTG is truly Good To Go. It is the perfect size to handle a water bottle, CCW, keys, wallet, and whatever basics you choose to bring for a simple trek or op. The large main pocket is big enough for me to fit my fullsize binoculars. If you plan to carry, the zippered CCW pocket is excellent--just be sure to get the velcro holster accessory. This product has the perfect combination of size and storage amenities. Very good product, very good price.

5.11 Gear
As many of you know, I am something of a paramilitary gear enthusiast. There is a chance that I may be able to become a 5.11 Tactical product reviewer which would result in regular reviews of 5.11 gear being posted on this blog. My plan is to develop a twitter feed that would notify folks when a new 5.11 review has been posted.
